This painting started my journey down the rabbit hole. Both when it comes to using acrylics and alcohol ink in a new way but also when it comes to what actually appeared on the canvas.
I have worked with layers upon layers, alternating acrylics and ink, to achieve depth in the painting and to give it life. In my mind I saw this magic world of creatures and life that somehow romanticised what nature has to offer. Welcome to my world of the unknown.
